※ 대한민국의 영문 호칭중 머리글자인 K를 C로 수정되길 원합니다. ISO 639처럼 korean을 찾아야 할때나 외국사이트중 언어 선택을 하는 웹 페이지에서 한참 밑으로 찾아야 하는 불편함이 있기에 수정되는 날을 기다리고 있습니다.그렇구나! 한국의 영문 표기를 바꿔야 하는 이유는 바로 이것이었던 거예요.

Korea를 Corea로 바꾸자고 주장하시는 분들 랜덤여신님 댁에서 이어옵니다. K가 C가 되면 언어선택할때 스크롤 안 해도 되서 좋다! 랍니다. 우와.. 멋진 의견. 그래도 _Korea는 폼이 안나니, 그냥 확! 코리아나 아리아나 한글자 차이니 그냥 확 바꿔버립시다. 그리고 부산을 네오 베네치아로…. 죄송. -_-;

바꾸면, South Corea ..
통일이 된 후 그때 Corea 로 바꾸면 좋겠군요.(언제?)

Republic of Korea, 위에서 언급하신 South Korea 등... 꽤 많은사이트에서 북한과 남한을 나누는데 K를 C로 바꾼다고 해서 달라질것 같진 않네요. 아, C로 바꾸면 Republic of 나 South 를 달 필요도 없어지려나요?
아무튼 지금 잘 쓰고있는걸 바꿀 이유는 없다고 봅니다. 괜히 혼란만 가중시키고... 인터넷에 떠도는 대부분의 주장글이 근거없는 낭설이라더군요. Corea란 표기도 라틴계의 표기라고 하고요.

Corea 스페인어표기
이렇게 알고 있습니다.
K를 C로 바꾸자는것은 스페인에가서 Korea로 쓰고 영국가서 Corea로 쓰자는것 같네요.
프랑스에서는 Coree로 쓰는것 같던데...
USA를 한국에서 '미국'이라고 쓰고/부르는것과 같습니다.
이 소문의 근원은 어디인지 모르겠으나 쓸데없이 정력을 낭비하는것과 같습니다.
누가뭐래도 영어권 사람들은 Korea로 쓸거고 스페인어권 사람들은 Corea로 쓸테니까요.
